WaterMark certification for water filters - advice to plumbers, builders, developers

The WaterMark Scheme is the mandatory certification scheme for plumbing and drainage products which is managed by the Australian Building Codes Board.  If a product carries the WaterMark you know that it meets the rules of the WaterMark Certification Scheme which for water filters, includes certification to the relevant Australian Standards.

If pure tasting water and the reduction of impurities and potentially harmful contaminants is important to you and your clients, you should ensure that the WaterMark certification on water filters extends to AS/NZS 4348:1995 to ensure those claims have been tested and verified to the correct standards.

AS/NZS 4348:1995 is specific to filters, as it certifies and verifies that the filter will reduce impurities and potentially harmful contaminants.
