Recycling your CO2 Cylinder
08 Nov 2022
At Zenith Water our sustainability credentials have always been high on our priority list, which is why we have developed our small residential CO2 cylinders to be recyclable.
Our CO2 cylinders enable our drinking water systems to dispense sparkling water, promoting ‘refill culture’ which is estimated to eliminate millions of plastic bottles every year.
That provides great benefit for the environment, but we hope in reminding our customers that our small mild steel CO2 cylinders are recyclable we can continue to make further positive change.
Recycling not only helps to conserve natural resources, but it also saves energy and reduces emissions. Recycling metals means less need for mining of new materials, which in turn helps to protect valuable ecosystems and wildlife.
Our small cylinders are designed for single use to allow all customers, including those who live in areas where refilling services are not available have access to a CO2 solution.
However, if you do live in an area where CO2 refilling services are available you can upgrade to our larger refillable cylinder. Simply order the larger regulator (part number 93256NZ) and a new 2kg Cylinder (part number 93310) and change it yourself. Alternatively, you can book in a Zenith Water service technician to come to your home and change it for you.
